This exclusive journey immerses you in Meghalaya’s untouched beauty, from the emerald valleys of Cherrapunji to the turquoise waters of Dawki.
Walk through breathtaking trails, witness the magic of nature-engineered root bridges, cruise on a river so clear it feels like floating on air, and explore hidden waterfalls tucked away in lush landscapes. This trip blends adventure, serenity, and culture — the perfect escape for nature lovers.
Day 1 – Arrival in Guwahati → Transfer to Shillong
Arrive at Guwahati Airport and transfer to Shillong, the “Scotland of the East.” En route visit Umiam Lake for stunning views. Evening free to explore Shillong City and local cafés.
Day 2 – Shillong → Cherrapunji (Sohra) Highlights
Drive to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and the scenic eco-parks. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
Day 3 – Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek
Early morning trek to the world-famous Double Decker Root Bridge at Nongriat. Enjoy natural pools, forest paths, and suspension bridges. Return by evening and rest in Cherrapunji.
Day 4 – Mawlynnong Village & Skywalk
Visit Mawlynnong, Asia’s Cleanest Village. Explore bamboo skywalk viewpoints, hanging bridges, and lush valley views. Visit the Single Root Bridge nearby. Continue to Dawki.
Day 5 – Dawki River Cruise & Shnongpdeng Adventures
Experience a cruise on the stunning Umngot River — so clear that boats look like they’re floating in air. Optional activities: kayaking, boating, ziplining. Evening stay in riverside cottages/camps.
Day 6 – Return to Shillong → Sightseeing
Drive back to Shillong. Visit Elephant Falls, Ward’s Lake, Cathedral Church, and local handicraft markets. Evening for leisure and café hopping.
Day 7 – Shillong → Guwahati | Departure
Transfer back to Guwahati. Visit Kamakhya Temple (time permitting). Drop at airport with memories of a refreshing Meghalaya escape.
