For years, commuters and tourists along the said road have voiced concern over its poor condition, especially during monsoon when the road faces multiple landslides and damages to its mountainous terrain. However the recent repairs on the road will make journey for the travellers more convenient and smooth while journeying toward both towns of Dawki and Shnongpdeng. Nevertheless there will still be some ongoing work and construction as we can witness other parts of the roads still being renovated, so some sections may still be unequal while moving forward.
